Plans and features

The runtime stays consistent across plans. Universe shows the active boot-loaded runtime; Time Chamber is an opt-in preview whose supported episode clock and journal stay bounded to one configured runtime, not the Team audit log. Paid tiers add local intelligence, shared controls, and custom commercial terms.

Questions & Answers

Does Gostly AI use my data?

No. Gostly AI does not use your captured API traffic to train shared models. Sensitive captured traffic—including request and response bodies, credentials, full URLs, hostnames, cookies, API keys, and raw service names—does not leave your environment through Gostly telemetry. Connected editions validate entitlements with the configured license key and a generated machine identifier. Unless you opt out, they also send tightly allowlisted operational telemetry that helps us understand product use and reliability. Set GOSTLY_TELEMETRY=off to disable telemetry; Enterprise can include a no-phone-home deployment option.

How do I get charged when I add members to my workspace?

Team is billed by the number of seats an organization owner selects in Billing, with a three-seat minimum. Inviting or removing a member does not automatically change your Stripe subscription. If you need more capacity, an owner increases the purchased seat quantity in Settings. Stripe calculates prorations when the subscription changes, but Gostly does not currently preview the amount or guarantee when the adjustment will settle.

How does adding and removing members work?

On Team, an owner can invite members by email. Invitations expire after seven days and must be accepted while signed in with the invited address. Owners can remove non-owner members, which immediately revokes that member's active Gostly sessions. To change what you pay, adjust the purchased seat quantity separately in Settings.

How are paid seats consumed?

Team pricing is based on one purchased seat for each active workspace member, including its owner. Invitations do not automatically reserve or purchase seats, so owners should make sure their paid quantity covers the people they add. Removing a member makes that workspace capacity available again, but it does not automatically reduce the quantity purchased through Stripe. Team starts at three seats, and a workspace owner can change purchased capacity in Settings.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Every new account starts a 14-day Pro trial automatically, with no credit card required. Choose Pro or Team in Settings when you are ready to subscribe; review the payment terms in checkout. Team is billed monthly for the selected seat quantity, with a three-seat minimum. Contact us for Enterprise deployment and commercial terms.

How do I change my plan or seat count?

A workspace owner can move between Pro and Team or change Team's purchased seat quantity in Settings. Stripe creates prorations for paid-plan and seat changes, and Gostly updates access after Stripe confirms the subscription update. Enterprise changes are handled with our team.

How do I cancel my paid plan?

A workspace owner can open Settings, choose Manage billing & invoices, and cancel through Stripe's billing portal. For accounts that started with the Pro trial, paid access continues through the end of the current paid period, then product access stops unless the subscription is renewed. Account and billing recovery remain available. Existing Free workspaces keep their current access.

What is included in Enterprise?

Enterprise can include an offline-licensed, no-Gostly-egress deployment option alongside custom seats, environments, contracts, onboarding, and support. It is not presented as a fully qualified physical air gap.

Can I run Gostly for free?

You can try Pro free for 14 days without a credit card. New accounts need a paid plan to continue after the trial. Existing Free workspaces retain recording, deterministic replay, structural matching, chaos controls, and unlimited services.

What happens after the Pro trial?

Product access stops at the end of the 14-day trial unless you subscribe. There is no automatic charge without a subscription and no fallback to Free for new accounts. Your data remains in your environment, and you can still sign in to choose a plan and restore access.

Does Enterprise use a different product runtime?

Enterprise uses the same product runtime, but its exact scope is agreed with our team. A custom agreement can include Team capabilities alongside deployment terms, environments, residency, contracts, onboarding, and support.
